Join the World Food Day Run to Fight Malnutrition

| Oct 2, 2018

World Food Day, October 16, is always important for the Nutrilite Power of 5 Campaign. Every year, we plan an event to help raise awareness and funds in our fight against childhood malnutrition and people from around the world join us.

This year, we’re organizing a virtual 5K race – the A60 Challenge Run – and it can be completed any time during the month of October. We hope to have 60,000 people participate in honor of Amway’s upcoming 60th anniversary celebration in 2019.

When you sign up for the virtual race, the $10 entry fee is used to provide a month of Nutrilite Little Bits for a malnourished child. You can sign up as an individual or as part of a team. After the race, prizes will be awarded to the biggest team and to the Amway affiliate that has the most participants.

Feel free to invite your friends and family to join us!

A virtual race is perfect for the Power of 5 Campaign because people can participate from anywhere in the world. You can walk or run – alone or with friends – and then enter your time when your 5K is complete. You’ll receive a certificate and our thanks once the race is over.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, World Food Day is celebrated each year to promote worldwide awareness and action for those who suffer from hunger and for the need to ensure food security and nutritious diets for all. Events are organized in over 130 countries across the world, making it one of the most celebrated days of the United Nations calendar. The goal is to achieve a Zero Hunger world by 2030.

And to do our part, the Power of 5 Campaign is working to provide Nutrilite Little Bits to 500,000 malnourished children around the world. We work with humanitarian groups to provide this micronutrient supplement as part of established programs that offer food provisions, education and measurement of participating children’s growth.

The A60 Challenge Run will help you work toward your own health while making a big difference in the life of a malnourished child. Register now.
